Wake Up with Make Up - A Drag Fab Special.

Ever wondered what it would be like to look 'DRAG FAB'. Well here's you chance!
I'm here to give YOU inside help on how to make YOURSELF look more of a woman that you've EVER looked. FIERCE brows, DRAMATIC eyes, LUSCIOUS lips, gals and boys you will be WORKING it!

The best thing about this type of make up is you can go as far as you want with it, push any boundaries, go that extra flick of your make up brush. Too much is never enough!
Whether you are a professional/ammateur Drag Queen, dolling up for an event or even just for plain fun! Here's a little guide on how to do yourself up at every age with a little extra summit summit...

A good base/primer is essential, not only does it protect your skin but also makes the make up stay on longer. Use a good foundation and make sure it is all blended in well around the nooks and crannies, especially on older skin.

Exaggerate those brows like you've just seen Caspar the friendly ghost! A good eyebrow pencil can give you a bolder and thicker brow like nobodies seen before. For this more mature model, I lifted the brows up higher than her natural brow to give her eyes a more dramatic look. DIVINE!

Accessorize with things such as extravagant big jewellery, fur and head pieces! Think Priscilla Queen Of The Desert!

Highlighter is essential for highlighting your face and creating definer shapes. Adding it under your brows and on your cheek bones accentuates the face.

Green tones blend really well with a darker skin tone complexion. To really make you eyes pop, start with a lighter base colour on your eyelid than mix in darker colours on the outside of your lid all the way up to the arch of your eyelid.

Black lipstick puts the POW IN POUT!

Make up is all about creativity, so don't be scared to try out something different! On this model I lengthened her eyebrows to really sharpen the face.

Dots down the nose, why not!

Make up artists always say put white in the inner corner of your eyes to make them look bigger. You don't have to stick to certain rules, here I tried out red! And BAM her eyes instantly draw
you in.

Another essential for extravagant make up is working those cheeks. You need to shade those cheek bones like your colouring them in with a crayon! Starting from the hair line and brushing just slightly under your cheek bone with a darker blush will give you the chiselled face you want!

Also apply a little bit (and literally only a tad) of red/pink lipstick and smudge it up your cheekbones. It just gives it that extra WOW factor.

One thing which we mustn't forget - the hair! Sister's I want to hear an AMEN to back combing and hair spray. To give it that extra volume use a bit of moose to hold it in place and PLENTY of
hairspray! A women's best friend.

Who ever invented liquid eye liner is a GENIUS! You can go as thin or thick as you want or as long or short as you want. On this model for example flicks really were the trick. Eye liner is so flexible to use you can literally create any pattern and any style you want!

Using bold colours is VITAL to any drag queen. It's all about making a statement! The foundation of it is really just applying, blending, applying again, blending some more and using bright colours on top of other bright colours - simple!

When applying lipstick you really want to work with what your mama gave you and show off that trout pout. By drawing your lipstick just slightly over your mouth and shaping your cupids bow (the V on your top lip) a more pointed shape; this gives you fuller lips AND a mouth shaped like a goddess. MWAH x

Last but not least one thing you need - GLITTER!
After all everyone needs a bit of sparkle in their lives.

I hope this guide has inspired you to unleash your inner DIVA in you and go 'wake up with make up'!
